Alexandros Papadiamantis’ most emblematic novel, “La nostalgia,” accompanied by Byzantine hymns, as well as hymns written by the novelist himself. Cantors’ voices portray Lalio’s (La Nostalgia’s main character) vulnerability, her tenderness, her loneliness, her erotic desire, and her nostalgia, underscoring the novelist’s sensuality and mysticism.
