A series of staged readings accompanied with music, curated by Magda Mavroyianni

Famous philhellene poet Lord Byron’s eventful life, his love for Greece, as well as his close friendship with poet Shelley and his wife, Mary Shelley. Their journey to Switzerland, where they all stayed at his villa. Their long discussions, as well as Mary Shelley’s inspiration to write her famous novel, Frankenstein. The author’s relationship with Lord Byron and Greece. What was the nature of her husband’s relationship with Byron, and why was he jealous of Mavrokordatos? A group of friends who were ardent philhellenes.
